I have been using this Microsoft Word 2000 software for about five months and this is the second time it has happened. The last time I had to do a system restore to fix it and load everything back into my computer. My computer after working in Word 2000 will freeze and says there is not enough memory to load Word when my computer is running at over 75 percent free memory. I have to reboot to get out of it and computer will say, kernel32 general protection fault error in module USER.EXE and then something like 3:00003bab. I am using Stedman's Medical Spellchecker and dont know if there is some kind of conflict that keeps happening or why my computer refuses to let me back into any prior Word program I have typed. Please help! Thank you SO much!

I getr the same. But where is Stepney's follow up? What is the answer?: I solved my problem myself after about 8 hours, but am proud to say I did it. If you are having the same problem, look under Stepney's follow up to find the answer. Kristy
