Mark/or anyone,Did you fix the problem? If you did, what did you do? I have similar problem here. My Word 2000 memeory keeps on crashing every time I opened the WINWORD.EXE. I could not use Word 2000 anymore.
: Winword.exe could be corrupt.Try to delete winword.exe file and restart MS Word.
: Once you restart MS Word it will creat another winword file. To find out where is winword file do the following:
: -Click on Start/Find/Files and Folders.
: -In the "Named" box type "winword.exe" without quotation marks.
: -In the "Look in" box type "C:\".
: -Click on Find now.
: -Right click on the file (winword.exe)and delete it.
: -Start MS Word. If the error does not appear any more, then winword file was corrupt.
: -If the error keeps appearing, then try to change the memory. The memory could be damaged.
