You did not give a very good description of what is going on and what OS you are running. From your post, I would assume that you are running a version of WIN9X (not NT) and Norton Antivirus 2000, 2001, or 2002.
The error message is related to a Norton Antivirus virtual driver. I would completely uninstall Norton Antivirus from your system (control panel, install/remove programs). For good measure (works well for Norton Antivirus corrupts), find the install directory(s) and delete it after you have uninstalled Norton. You will usually find the directory(s): Program Files, Norton Antivirus (delete this folder) and Symantec (delete this folder as well).
Then reinstall Norton Antivirus. This should get rid of your error messages.
Post back if you still have problems.
