OK, to start off, i'm not a newbie.
That aside, my dad has a Compaq 5447 with an AMD K6-2. During regular usage the computer frequently locks up. CTRL-ALT-DEL *2 will say that system is busy trying to load close programs window. I've done everything I can think of, viruscan, scandisk, defrag, I just can't get it. I've never had a problem with any of the other computars I've worked with, usually a few simple tweaks will do it, but this one is beyond me.. is this a hardware problem?
