: In explorer while trying to make a new folder I get an error message that said "Explorer executed an invalid instruction in module SHDOC401.DLL at 015f:77dd3b00.
: I think this has only occured after installing aol 7.0.

Check the System resources and the Memory on your AOL system information and if the load is more then 70% do Crtl+alt+del and remove all programs except explorer and systray and then try to run AOL 7.0 if this dosn't work upgrade your RAM or use a lower version of AOL like 5.0
