When you open up a new document in Word 2000 you should see two sets of Windows control bars - one for the Word Program and one for the open document. They are both located at the top right of the screen.For some reason the Minimize and Restore buttons on my document menu bar are no longer available - all I am left with is the X to close the document. I am therefore unable to minimize the document within Word.
Does anyone know why this should be the case? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Word but am still left with the same result. I am running Windows 98SE.
