: When ever I start up windows 98 normally with my CD-RW and DVD Rom attached, I get the following error:
: "0028:0000009 in VxD--- called from 0028:C188EC37 in VxD---."
: I can start Windows in safe mode and I can Start Windows 98 normally when I remove the drives. I've re-installed windows 98 in attempt to fix this problem. How can I resolve it?

This was resolved by deleting ALL *.vxd files and reinstalling windows via a bootdisk. I meant that I had to reinstall my anti-virus and firewall software again as well as my MP3 software but it works well so far!!!
