Trying to run Startup this morning and got the following Blue Screen of Death error message:

FILENAME VSYNTHD (03) + ERROR: OE : 0028 : C193FD7D
Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart or any key to continue

This occurs after the splash screen comes up, when starting from scratch. Pressing a key puts it into a blank screen with the hour glass, where it sits and sits . . .

A restart tries to start to the point of running scandisk for improper shutdown, then back to the blue screen of death.

Ran fine yesterday, normal shut down by menu, followed by power down for the night.

Any good ideas before I reload Win ME?
