Windows Hangs during startup after installing Herc |

I keep experiencing this problem, I just installed a Hercules Prophet 4000xt pci 32 MB graphics card and the drivers...it works fine at first, but when you restart, it hangs at the Windows screen, you restart it and can only go into safe-mode, then go to restart and then it loads up fine. If anyone can help, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have the same issue, i work 4 a PC shop and a guy came in asking 2 upgrade his machine, i put in new mobo, new ram, new CPU (P4 3Ghz with 512MB RAM) and then it worked untill i installed the drivers. now when it gets past the boot strap i get a black screen and nada else, i can boot into safe mode, and i can only go into the normal mode after i uninstall the drivers, but when windows starts up i get the new hardware wizard installing the card again.its also on win98 and the 32MB edition. i even used the orginal CD for the card, and downloaded latest ones. no luck

do you have onboard video?,,, update all drivers and dry tweaking around with the card in the device manager.,.,
