Re: Missing w3knet.dll. I have windows 98 2nd Edition and had the same problem. I determined that RUNDLL was not necessary to my needs so I did as follows: Go to START and LEFT Click, Then LEFT click on RUN, then type in the word MSCONFIG , then click OK, when Systems Configuration Utility window opens, go to the STARTUP Tab and LEFT click and then scroll down until you find W3kNetwork...RunDll32.exe w3knet.dll,DLLInit Run, click the Box on the left side to clear the check mark, then go down to the bottom and click APPLY and OK. While you are there you might want to make other changes as well, if you hqve any problems with any changes just repeat the above procedure and restore to AS WAS by LEFT clicking the BOX.
