Half Life crashing Win Xp

Every 5-10 times i run half life or a half life mod
xp decides to crash on me.

I have a gf3 ti 500 with the latest detonator drivers.

Have tried compatability mode and turnigg of auto restart on system failure.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

try taking out the -console command in the target box if you put it in there.Worked for me.Hope this helps!!
