TRY DELETIN NORMAL.DOT FILE BY PERFORMING UH SEARCH ON DA SYSTEM.: I had the same problem after installing WinFax Pro 10.02. To resolve it, I downloaded the "WFWORDD2K.ZIP" file from the Symantec website mentioned in the earlier post, extracted the "WFWORD2K.DOT" file from it, and copied this "WFWORD2K.DOT" file to the following 2 folders in my PC: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE\STARTUP" and "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINFAX\MACROS". If your attempt to replace an existing "WFWORD2K.DOT" file is thwarted by an error saying that the file is in use, reboot your PC and try again. You may have attempted to start Word2000 and your OS (mine is Win98-SE) thinks that Word2000 is currently using that file. A reboot removes that hurdle.
