I got a blue background with white text that said
"Explorer invald page fault module GEI.exe at 0001:0000a2ec". Then I would get another blue background again with white text that said "OE-at 017F: BFF9DFFF". I had to shut down and boot my computer to turn it back on to my desktop. Please advie me how to solve this problem.

GDI stands for "Graphic Display Interface" it could be the VGA video card drivers, update them or try a lower res/refresh speed to see if it goes away (as a test)
