This message appears on startup:
Fatal Exception 0E at 0167:BFF8AB97
It doesnt happen all the time but about a third of the time. Then im prompted to choose if i want to go on safe mode.
What could be the problem?

Try swapping out your RAM. Typically, OE errors with 0167:???????? are memory errors. It worked for me.

I get that same message sometimes on my HP 4450 running Win98SE. I can't figure it out!
