I have the same problem with the blue screen error. When I restart the computer, goes to safe mode. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries before I can get my computer on. I have a Gateway ME. Help! If you have the solution that is not too difficult please email me at dorawebb@bellsouth.net.

Actually it could be due to any invalid driver in the system. Try going into safe mode and then into the device manager. Remove all splats then reboot. Or try reinstalling the driver. I have had this error caused by a USB driver and also a video card on another system. both using ME

i also get this error and i also have a gateway with ME. my conclusion is that gateway sucks. hahah my boyfriend also has a gateway and he has many problems as well. i can't be sure if gateway is to blame. however, i will not purchase another one in the future.

I started to develop this problem AFTER loading the ME update from microsoft. I restored my desktop to an earlier date and it helped. I was at the point where I was totally locked out of the system! If anyone can pinpoint this problem, let me know. Thanks.

This blue screen error is related to a bad video card driver. Please update your video card driver from the manufacturer's website. This will fix your problem. It is possible that this error message is associated with motherboard conflict with the video card.

If this does not resolve this issue, consider a new video card.
