My problem, which is like yours, happens when I have a USB floppy drive plugged in on booting into Windows. If I boot without it plugged in, and then plug it in when Windows is loaded, I have no problems.

: I can no longer get into my word files. I use windows 2000 and when I click on a word file, I get the following: "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". Once I click on details, it tells me that the problem is in module 017f:30905158. All of my other program (excel, power point,etc) appear to work. While I can use outlook express, I cannot open Word attachments. I am in the middle of exams and need help quick! Thanks
