Thinkpad fails to boot after SSD replacement Post a Reply
From: Larahir on 03/23/2011
Hi,

I've just bought a Lenovo T401 and an OCZ Vertex 2 80gb SSD.

Using thinkvantage recovery, I backed up the files into my 16gb USB flash drive.

However, when I replaced the thinkpad hard disk with the SSD and plugged in the USB flash drive, my computer failed to boot. Such a message appeared:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.
No bootable partition in table.

After reading some posts in the forum, I entered bios and prioritized USB FDD as the boot of choice, etc and stated again but it did not work.

Any help? Thanks!
