About a month ago I noticed my computer was freezing up while booting Windows. I also noticed that there was a "new hardware device found" balloon at the bottom of the screen. After having to reboot because of the freezing, the Windows program will not boot in "normal mode" but will boot up in "safe mode," but the system will not allow me to use Norton antivirus or get online. It doens't even detect the modem which is internal. Help!
