About two months ago my friend splilt some liquid on the computer. I took the hard drive and battery out and let it dry for two weeks. When I put it back in this was when the "media test failure, check cable" message first started occuring. But while this message appears I can still use the internet, watch movies and pretty much all the normal stuff. Also my cd/dvd drive does not work. It makes all the right noises, but won't run the cds. Is this related? Can anyone please help?
