iexplore caused error in MSHTML.DLL Post a Reply
From: cris on 05/10/2007
Every time I try to log in to myspace now, I get the message "Iexplore has caused an error in MSHTML.DLL. Iexplore will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer." I've tried restarting my computer, but still whenever I try to log on to myspace, it still does it. Then it closes the window. Any ideas why it does this, or how I can fix it? PLEASE, I need help! I'm so computer illiterate!

you did not tell me what version of internet explorer you are using,so i will give you two sites, the problem is with explorer, it needs to be upgraded because there is a problem with the version you have.
If you have ver. 5 and up go here to update= http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
or
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie

if you have ver. 6 you need to reinstall it again if you need to download again go to this web site.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx

Here is the websites where this information came from, and it tells you the causes and solutions. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265244
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318153
this is as simple as i can make it.
Hope this helps.
