I have windows XP home edition. A virus error poped up and then my coputer shut down. I tried to turn on the computer and it comes to a screen with options: safe mode, and so on. Well, the problem is that whatever I choose, it will not work. The computer will just turn to a blue screen and says a problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to my computer and will not start to windows. Any ideas or suggestions? If there is any vital information I have left out, please let me know and I will respond as soon as possible. email me at lflanders@sunramp.com and i will get back to u as soon as possible. Thanks a lot.

Hi Bob

looks like you need to get us some more information on this issue, can you supply some more deials on the BSOD, if windows is crashing in safe mode as well as nnormal mode then you have some serious issues with windows, depending on the error will depend on you chances of a recovery..
