I'm in need of some serious help. I have to use my name is sign onto my computer, and its been working fine, but yesterday I signed in and checked my email, and then shut down. Well yesterday night when I tried to get back on the computer I signed in and hit enter and my customized desktop shows up but the start menu doesnt show up and none of the icons show up either. I cant get access to any of my programs or anything. I can hit every button on the keyboard and nothing happens. You cant even shut it down without using ctrl+alt+delete. I have windows 98. Thank you for any help that you can offer. I would sure appreciate it. I'm totally computerly challenged and have not the slighest clue what is going on.
