When I closed any of my IE windows it crashed with "explorer caused a general protection fault in module USER.EXE at 0004:000004dd"
and all my IE wondows crashed too.
It is a Winsows 98 SE. I already install all patches and upgrade my IE to 6.1 but it persists.
