hey,

I have also had this problem, i fixed it and am glad i did, here is how i fixed it:
by looking at the error message when it came up, if you look at the details for the error message, you will notice that it shows another file (i think they call it a modifier) which basically governs explorer.exe. i found out the file name, and i did a search for the file.

in my case, the file was called ibm00001.dll

i did a search and found the file in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders

i also noticed there was an exe with the same filename, so i deleted that as well.

i haven't had a restart since!!!

After more research into this I found that it was svchost.exe that was accessing memory and it could not read it. That is the point that explorer.exe starts opening and closing. While that is happening drwin.exe opens right before explorer.exe closes and then closes after explorer.exe closes. I can't access anything unless I go into Windows Task Manager and then do a new task. I can only really go into Netscape and that isn't really a lot of help because I can't run anything from it like you can in IE. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

BTW I have removed all memory and tried each stick of ram to make sure that there wasn't a problem with them.

Thanks

Ted
