uminstall any firewalls there are more problems in them (they also cost alot more problems for a pc esp. if you have less than 256 mb of ram)for a gamer than there worth. chanches of being attack by a hacker and a firewall helping are very slim (trust me i know hackers who can disarm them easyly)(trust me i been attack to many times) but i do recomend a antyvirus (norton suck its 2 slow) esp mcafee.

Ok, first of all is a bundled firewall that came free with your broadband? if so uninstall it at this point. Now download sygate free firewall, it is the best free firewall available. Now once you have installed sygate there is an option under one of the control tab that says ''allow local computers'' tick it. Now when you are playing games or transferring files between your PC there should be no problems.
