It has taken over IE and I can not get rid of it!

The following programs will resolve your problem.
Install them all and run them vigorously for a few days.
Install spywareguard last.
you also need norton anti-virus uptodate.


Spybot latest version
Ad-aware version 6
Spywareblaster 2.2
spywareguard (install last after running spybot and ad-aware)

You may have some spamware installed, go to lavasoft.com and download adaware and let it remove all the crap. (if I got that wrong, go to your favorite download site and find it)
Nothing should be able to re-set what you have set for a default search engine unless it's some sort of spyware/spamware thing.
And if you find out what company is doing this, make sure you give them a piece of your mind.

Run IE and go to tools..see internet options and youll set a set page for your homepage..change that to watever you ant..ex..www.google.com
