I'm working on HP Pavilion 510n. Recently I had to restore my hard drive and after getting back up to speed, had no problems. Just installed MSN 9 disc and while changing my home page content around, started getting error messages and shut downs. (No worms/virus or anything like that.)
MSN said to change my display to 256 color instead of whatever it was on. I come to find that I no longer have that option, though at some time I know I did.
How do I get it back without calling HP and getting gigged for $40?
