A:command.com starts the Windows 98 startup disk so she can use her diagnostic tools only. I tried almost everything under God's green earth to bring my drive up since I'm having exactly the same problems but with Windows 98. The best I can probably hope for is to recover my files by using a recovery service. But, I will try something else before completely giving up.
