This error message pops up when using Internet Explorer 6.0

Any ideas?

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, choose Internet Explorer. Choose the 'repair' option.

The OLEAUT32.DLL file is not the culprit. It is another DLL file.

If this does not work, I would try to reinstall IE 6.

I am having the same problem when I use Ebay. If I hit the "back" button too many times I get this error. It appears that I have the lastest version of oleaut32.dll and I am using Explorer 6.0 so I don't know where the problem lies. If anyone finds a solution I would love to hear it.

That is exactly your problem. Older version.

I am searching for something about this now. Someone I know is getting the same problem. I imagine that the dll file has been replaced with an older version.
