I'm running windows XP with a compaq cd-rom cr-589. Everything has been working fine and now when I try to access my E: drive it says "The request could not be performed because of an i\o device error." My d: drive consist of a Samsung RW drive and it works fine. Again both of these drive have been working great! But now I'm getting this error message when trying to access my cd rom.
