I have the BSOD reading fatal exception OE...0028:c0045010 in vxd vacache(01)+000008bc. If I try to boot into safe mode it states HYMEM SYS missing XMS driver will be shut down. I have tested the RAM and this does not seem to be the problem. If it is the external cache, then I am looking at a new motherboard? There is no listing for CPU cache, secondary cache or external cache in the CMOS/BIOS.
