I recently had a new 80GB hard drive and 256MB of RAM installed on my computer.I go to restart and it just goes to a black screen then it restarts after i move the mouse and it caused this error: Kernell32 caused a general protection fault in module USER.EXE at 0003:000010eb.And it made this grinding sound within the hard drive I believe. Before when i started the computer all it use to say was No Signal.Found out that the computer wasn't detecting the new installed memory.Got that fixed and now it detects it.Plus I got the No Signal thing again then it finally started after 2 mins or so.Sorry that all of this sounds confusing. Thanks for the help in advance.

You may be able to use this free rescue disk to manipulate files that windows won't let you touch. It has all sorts of cool tools and may even help fix bad sectors or recover files.
