Network Connection window on logging in. Post a Reply
From: Bridget on 09/08/2003
I have Windows XP, everytime one of us logs in or swiches users we got a window - Network Connection. You or another user or program have requested information from finance.yahoo.

I only have the option to cancel or connect, I can't get rid of the window. If I cancel it pops back up again. I can tick the check box so the window only appears on logging in - but even then it randomly appears.

i would be grateful if anyone could help as it is most irritating.

Thanks

Things like that are normally in your Start Up folder, or you have Yahoo Messenger set to start up, and it has some setting to go to Finance, or it opens yahoo in IE for you. Check those first, and hit control alt delete and see what programs are running when you have nothing going to see if there is something there. Also research ways to take start up aps out of your registry, that's the last place to look and it's not easy.
