open windows explorer..
go to c:\windows
double click system.ini file.. this should open it up in notepad..
scroll down to the vcache setting..
it should look like this..
depending on the amount of memory in your system there are several settings you can put here..
if you have 96megs or more memory.. make the file look like this.
this should cure your problem..
if it don't.. then.. perhaps you need to check out your memory modules or upgrade to more memory for the programs you are wanting to run.. probably do not have enough memory..
