Upgraded to XP, now Adaptec CD Creator 4 won't Post a Reply
From: John on 04/28/2003
I recently upgraded to XP from ME. The CD is still recognized by the computer and will read from a CD. When I try to start my version of Adaptec (yes I know now it's Roxio) CD Creator 4, it claims that some files are missing. From Roxio's web site their is apparently a fix for this for CD Creator 5 but nothing mentioned for 4. Any hints to get this up and running will be appreciated!

I have the EXACT same problem as you.I've jux updated my computer to XP and my Adaptec CD Creator doesn't work either. I went on to DL the adaptec Cd Creator Update 4.2 but that won't work either...I guess I'll try to DL another version but adaptec was the only program that was easy to use with satisfying results. I've tried using new ones on my XP and they suck...

I would just re-install Easy Cd creator. back up all your personal files first then re-install. most likely there were files specific to XP that didnt install since you wer putting it on a ME system. hope this helps
