kernel32.dll and krnl386.exe deleted NOW WHAT?? Post a Reply
From: Dispril on 04/12/2003
On a computer running win98 2 ed. the files "kernel32.dll" and "krnl386.exe" were accidentially deleted and the computer of course cannot load windows anymore. Is there any way this mistake can be fixed without formatting the disk?

If you have the origional setup disk you should beable to re-install windows seeing that those files are windows core files...

Use a boot disk to start the setup and just re-install windows over itself...
