Help! When I try to save or print a file in Excel on Windows 2000 it generates a "Send Error" message. In the log the following shows up: Source: Microsoft Office 10 Event ID: 1000
Faulting application excel.exe, version 10.0.2614.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 6.1.8924.0 fault address 0x00011726 Also, when I switch to the administrator profile it prints and saves just fine.
Can anyone help?

Thank. It works. From: German on 02/16/2010 Paste this text as it is whithout modifying it in a notepad and save as fixproblem.reg ... then run it. If you don't have "Send to Bluetooth" under that key, It'll do no harm. It worked for me! Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\BtOfficeAddin.BtOfficeIntegration.1]

Uninstall MS office and download Open Office from the internet. It's free and much less hassle. It has whatever you would want to use from MS office and don't give this shitty error msgs!

Hi Guys,I recently had the same problem following reinstall of Excel 2000 onto my new computer. Check the following thread http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-1793028.php I tried it and it worked for a while then crashed again. Following the logic that the XLB files were becoming corrupted I deleted all add-ons from the system (using Add/Remove Office Features), especially those with VBA, noted in the title. I followed the logic that [Support for Excel 2000 is discontinued except for security updates | Security updates are patching anything with VBA content (esp. add-ons) | there is a strong possibility that changes to add-on format will cause cooruption of customization file]. I have now had 2 beautiful event free days. Simon Cropper

No relevant posts to this problem. I will take a stab at it, msvcrt.dll is a visual C runtime dll. You don't need to have visual studio installed to have this file on your system as it may have been installed by other microsoft applications. I have tried applying visual studio patches to get the msvcrt.dll to the latest version however the system i have experiencing the problem has more wrong with it that just this module, a full system rebuild will be required however I encourage any following this post to question the version of the msvcrt.dll installed as you may have an older version that what you need/want installed.
