Can't open Word. Invalid page fault in module

I have a Dell with windows 98 second ed. and ms office 2000 including word 2000. When I try to open word from the programs menu or open a word document from a folder I get Invalid Page Fault in module VEB6.DLL at 017f:6504eafl. How do I fix this?

First, delete the Normal.dot file.

If this does not work, try reinstalling Norton Antivirus.

If both does not work, run a repair from the office install CD (an option after you put the disk in your computer).
