OK, this error shows up when I update links. The links are from an identical worksheet in another folder. Excel successfully opens an identical file in other folders eg: Sept, Oct, Nov, all have copies of this worksheet. Each worksheet is linked with the previous month's worksheet. I can open Sept, and Nov but it crashes with October's File. I'm Stumped. Any help?
Thanks

I don't think this will help you but you can give it a try.

Try deleting any XLB files. Do a search for "*.xlb" and delete all the files that appear. Excel will reset this files. Rouge visual programming will usually be eliminated by this step.

I got the same error messages.
The macro seems OK.
Did you find a solution?
Thanks for answer.

Sounds like rogue VBA or macros. I would look into this first. Microsoft has a few articles relating to this manner on support.microsoft.com

If this does not occur with other files, then I would suspect that this is the problem. Alt-F11 will get you to the VBA screen. You can check for programming there.
