Actually, it could be your virus software that is causing the problem. For any given reason, I think the install is having problems working with your hard drive to get files on it.To save a ton of time, I would completely FDISK, remove and reinstall partition, format, and try again. This should stop the error message. If you are using a SCSI HDD, then you may need to check your settings, terminations, etc. Hope this helps. Computerpilot
