Just to be a little bit clearer, the newdotnet3_23.DLL file is the one I am referring to and not the Rundll32.dll as it is part of windows. It is also possible to replace rundll32.dll with a backup copy if all else fails. If you do, be sure it is the exact same version of Windows that you are using.

Oh, another thought, you can check your start up options in the system tools on your computer and see if it is loading as a TSR and remove it if it is.

I'm thinking a couple of things. One download Ad-aware (I believe it is www.adaware.com). Run the program and remove any internet junk installed on your machine.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, I would track down that file on your hard drive and see where it is installed and what program it is part of. Then I would try to uninstall the program from the control panel's add/remove programs.

If this is an error because the program was removed improperly, then you would have to consider editing the registry. There is a search and find feature in the registry that you can use to track down the entries for this file. Be sure to back up the registry first so that if you make any errors, there is a way to revert back to this copy of the registry.
