When I go into control oanel and then display it will not let me change my settings color or screen area,the color is at 16 and screen area is stuck at 680 by 480 pixel how can I change it? can barely read my screen the coloring is so messed up.
please help.

This is due to the video software (known as drivers) are not installed. Windows uses a generic VGA display setting when the drivers are not loaded. If your display was fine prior to this, you may have accidently uninstalled the video driver software. The good thing is that you can reload the software if you have the original software that was shipped with you computer. If not, you can download the software from the video card manufacturer's website if you have the manufacturers name.
