I got that same exact fatal exception error, and do NOT have PC-cillin on my comp. Probably something else... memory, drivers... no one seems to know based on the OE errors I get.

You may have already solved your problem, but I'll post my two cents.
Generally if something cannot uninstall properly, then I resort to the following:
1. remove any TSR's related to the program in your system startup
2. run a registry cleaner
3. do a disk cleanup to remove redundant files or find the program in your program files and delete the folder if necessary.

Ouch. I hate when the registry screws itself up and cannot locate the uninstall file. You may try finding the uninstall file yourself and put the sucker back in the program files directory for PCCillin. I usually use TWEAK UI to remove it from the Add/Remove Programs list, delete the install directory from Program Files, then run a search for the software in the registry and remove all values associated with it. This usually works as a good guide to any program that will not uninstall.

I generally recommend Norton Antivirus 2003 (or newest version) for computers with dial-up internet. I recommend Norton Internet Security 2003 (or newest version) for users with Cable or DSL.

Just out of curiousity, is your system running a K6-2 processor? Is it possible that you have it overclocked? These continuous error messages are sometime associated with a bad K6-2 processor.

Stop PcCillin from starting up. Go to your MSCONFIG and unselect it from startup. You can find this: START/PROGRAMS/ACCESORIES/SYSTEM TOOLS/SYSTEM INFORMATION. You will find the Sytem Configuration on the Tools menu. Go to startup section and unselect the PCCILLIN startup files.

I would do this step as a test. If you are still getting the error messages, then my theory about your processor may be correct and your error messages are NOT associated with your bad install of PCCILLIN.

Good luck, and post back if you are successful!

Safe mode start, remove the program, get a good reg cleaner program and it should find any reg entries that go with the program and remove them.
Get a NAT router it has a firewall and you don't need those silly programs.

(1)Have you tried booting up in safe mode and trying uninstall then.

(2)If you have a disk for the PC-Cillin or the original setup file, try reinstalling it and then uninstalling it (the uninstaller may have been corrupt)
