Hello,
a friend of mine created with her computer a lotus freelance graphics presentation. And saving the presentation the programme has reported an error. And as she wanted to open the presentation again, the following error message appeared:

F32MAIN verursachte einen Fehler durch eine ungültige Seite
in Modul MSVCRT.DLL bei 0177:780102a4.

How can I handle with this problem? The presentation is very important!! The presentation is very great in size (ca. 270000 KB). Can anyone help us, please?
Thank you, Marion

I have heard that installing Smart Suite before Office or vice versa has different affects with opening files. You might try to install the two programs in another order to see if that works. This is usually associated with older version of fonts, application files, registry entries, etc.

This is really all I can suggest. Sorry I cannot be of more assistance.

thankyou, computerpilot, for your suggestions. but unfortunately none of them worked. I suppose, that the computer has damaged the file while saving it, so that the error is not in the msvcrt.dll file, but in the freelance-presentation. the file is more than 200 MB large, and the computer has a RAM of 64 MB. now we have added other 256 MB RAM. but even this didn't bring any progress. I tried to replace the msvcrt.dll file with a newer version, but without success.
do you have another suggestion or proposal what we can try to do?

thank you in advance, marion

The MSVCRT.DLL file is usually corrupted when installing visual basic software on your computer. If you have done this recently, then this is probably your issue. You might consider finding the most current version on Microsoft's website if you are using the free version.

Otherwise, it is probably being caused by corrupt files in Freelance. You may consider reinstalling the software to see if your error message goes away.

Please feel free to post back if neither of my suggestions work. There may be a few other options...
