I switched to Linux, it fixed all those blue screen problems I was having, now it never crashes, up times of 40 days are typical between power outages. I am sooooo happy!

Just wanted to say thanks - been having the iexplorer.exe abnormal program termination problem for a while now. The solution of deleting the plug in files from c:\winnt\downloaded program files worked for me when nothing else did.

Thank you!!!!!

Go to your primary hard drive in 'My computer'. Open the Windows or WINNT folder. Find the folder with a blue 'e' named, 'Downloaded Program Files' and delete all the files. Unfortunately, this will delete all your Internet Explorer plugins but you can always reinstall them as you need to (will ask to reinstall when you visit a site that requires a plugin).

Go to
www.mozilla.org
and download the latest mozilla for FREE, it's very well behaved and you can select if you want javascript on or off for each site if you wish.
IE sucks, you need to stop using it.
If you keep getting crashes and strange pop up ads, you might want to move away from the big fat greedy software corporations to a more open software by trying
www.mandrake.com
It's free, a lot of free software comes with it and thousands of people have given a few hours of their time to make a great bundle of software for you.
You should support them back by enjoying their software and spreading the word.
