: (Response) Similar to a problem that I had. AMD K6-2 chips have a problem with some motherboards where the core voltage settings are set at 2.2v. They need to be at 2.4 volts. This problem is mostly specific to AMD K6-2 processors over 400mhz. Get the specs (or book) that came with the motherboard and they should have the specs on setting the jumpers to the correct voltage.
: i have the same problem and it often crashes even when i start windows or just leave it for a while.
some say that changing the system bus etc may help but i have no idea what other effects this could have.
