My PC is a super machine, however, it freezes all the time. I defrag often, keep a usually clean desktop, and do everything I can to fix the problem. Any suggestions??????

Thanks so much.

Yeah could be a memory problem...... try another RAM chip....
A Bad RAM chip can cause a machine to lock up for no apparent reason...

Quit running windows, go get Mandrake Linux, it's only about $20 at compusa. It sets up KDE and is almost just like windows now.
Install it and play with it for a few days, dedicate some time to learning it just like you did when you got this pile of crap OS you have now, and your life will be better.
If and when it "crashes", only the program you are running crashes, and you simply "kill" it. No reboot, no restart. In the next operation you can start that program again and continue on. Besides, how many virus reports have you seen for Linux?
Why waste your life when you could be getting something done?
