EEK!!! comp freezes in games. Post a Reply
From: Mr. Crashy Pants on 12/23/2000
Hello I have a P3 866 w/ 128 megs ram 28 GB hard drive TNT2 video card and Win98. Anyway my comp always freezes in games and I have to restart. I've ran norton system check(no problems found) and defragged several times and it still happens. It is also very strange because sometimes it will go for hours with out freezing, and other times it will freeze 5 times in an hour. Any ideas?

CPU Temp is too high from impromper cooling, Heatsink not working etc. or Bad RAM (only works in games because games stress out ram more
