i would look for a virus right away. they are rampamt this time of year.
could be thew answer to both of the problems.
www.32bit.com . lotsa free anti virus utilities there: Everytime I am online and try to download something explorer freezes and I cannot even get out of it. My computer will not softboot, so I end up having to hard boot, I know that is bad. Also I cannot log on to MSN messenger says the system in unable to log me on and to try again later.
