I have tried most of the tips such as scandisk, optimizing, removing temporary files, cookies, etc...My computer is an older Packard Bell Pentium I 100 mghz. with a 56k modem, 48 MB ram and 1.2 GB hard drive. I use AOL as my internet server and after logging on and surfing for a while, it simply freezes and I have to re-boot. CTRL-ALt-DEL doesn't even work. Have to HARD BOOT. Does anyone know of an ANTI-FREEZE software?...THANKS!

Hi JohnNorton Utilities 2000/2001 contains a program call CrashGuard which will help you to identify (and possibly revive) the failing module. Good luck Ken.E : I have tried most of the tips such as scandisk, optimizing, removing temporary files, cookies, etc...My computer is an older Packard Bell Pentium I 100 mghz. with a 56k modem, 48 MB ram and 1.2 GB hard drive.
